The American Red Cross and 95.5 KLOS are joining together again to rock Southern California’s airwaves and help patients in need of blood transfusions with the 45th Annual 95.5 KLOS Blood Drive. The 95.5 KLOS community is invited to roll up a sleeve on Monday, July 27th through Saturday, August 1 at 50 blood donation locations throughout Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura Counties.

• The 45th Annual 95.5 KLOS Blood Drive returns this summer, continuing a Southern

California tradition that has helped save lives since 1981.

• Since it started in 1981, the KLOS Blood Drive has collected nearly 200,000 pints of blood

thanks to support from KLOS listeners.

• The blood products collected at this blood drive will help treat kids battling cancer, accident

victims being rushed to emergency rooms, individuals experiencing extreme sickle cell

disease pain, and patients with complicated childbirths.

• One in 7 patients entering a hospital will need a blood transfusion. By giving at the KLOS

Blood Drive, you can help ensure those living with sickle cell disease, people with cancer

and accident victims have the blood products they need for care.• Blood is perishable and cannot be manufactured or stockpiled—it can only come from

generous donors like KLOS listeners rolling up a sleeve to help. An hour of your time this

summer can help make a difference.
