Jackie J. grew up on country (mom's influence), classic rock (dad's influence), and rap (her first crush was Ja Rule) and she couldn't help but continue to fall head over heels for rhymes, lyrics, beats, and gangsta boys. In 2019, Jackie J. released her first single 'Watermelon Lipgloss' in loving memory of her bestie Stavros Bourke, along with many follow up tracks and music videos including 'Not Today, Satan' featuring Morena la Chingona which touches on the Roe vs. Wade ruling, which ended the constitutional right to abortion.
