Los Angeles based band Final Gravity, are a unique amalgam of hard rock, progressive rock and metal, release their fourth album 'Storm Chaser' on 23rd of November 2024, 3yrs after their sophomore album 'Surviving Humanity'.

Recorded at The Mouse House Studios and produced by Rich Mouser (Dream Theater, Transatlantic, Weezer, Oleander and Chris Cornell), the six track album takes the listener on a journey of awakening and evolution through the lens of humanity. It brings forward concepts of how we live our lives and how we could live our lives depending on the choices we make as individuals and as a collective.

The band draws inspiration and influence from such bands as RUSH, who they have covered several songs, Led Zeppelin which lead singer Melissa Jane plays tribute to in a side project called Lady Zep, Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, King's X, Queensryche and Tool.

Final Gravity named after a brewing term - when water, barley, hops, and yeast come together and form a tasty beer. This is analogous to the band whose members have fused their respective influences such as metal, prog, hard rock and alternative into a sonically compelling brew. The LA based band best known for their heavy rock/prog/metal hybrid never sacrifices listenability for chops, but likes odd meter and really playing their instruments.

Final Gravity has performed with such acts as Fates Warning, Gary Hoey and Iron Butterfly just to name a few. Founded in 2007, they released their debut self titled album in 2009 to critical acclaim. Shortly after vocalist Bill Moore left the band for a career opportunity and the band charted a new course with female vocalist Melissa Jane. The unexpected shift added a whole new dimension to the bands existing material and inspired them to expand their songwriting repertoire. In 2010 the new line up released '4 - Pack,' the name alluding to both the four songs on the release and acknowledging the four band members which included new (and current) singer Melissa Jane Dichiera and founding members Mike Clark (guitar), Charles Mumford (bass) and John Chominsky (drums).
